Department of Restorative Dentistry; function and aesthetics of the teeth by treating the tissue losses that occur in the tooth structure due to caries, trauma and various anomalies with different filling materials and at the same time taking the preventive measures to prevent the formation of caries, aiming to make preventive dentistry applications. Reasons for filling a tooth include: to avoid tissue loss caused by causes, to prevent the progression and re-start of caries, to prevent functional and aesthetic disorders. Different filling materials can be used according to the indication. These materials are amalgam, composite resin, compomer, resin modified glass ionomer. According to the developments in adhesive technology, "aesthetic dentistry practices" can be done within the field of restorative dentistry.
