The YOK Courses project was shared with the public in recent months among the targets of the New YOK in 2020. Our preparations within the scope of this project have been completed and digital course contents produced by our universities are offered for open access through this interface, which we call YOK Courses Platform (Higher Education Institutions Courses). At the first stage, this platform, which contains the course contents of Anadolu University, Atatürk University and Istanbul University, we believe that with the contribution of our other universities, it will develop and enrich both in terms of the number of programs and courses and the variety of content. This platform is a ground that contributes to further raising the bar of quality in higher education. The departments of our universities, which will enable students to choose these courses, will also ensure that their students meet different academic cultures. “Social justice and equal opportunities” constitute the basis of our higher education approach.
We would like to thank our academicians who prepared the course content offered for access in this project, which is a valuable product of the "Open Science and Open Access" policy followed by the new YOK, and these three universities that contributed to this process.
The YOK Courses Platform opens the lessons and knowledge of the valuable academicians of our country to all our students. Based on permanent evolution, this platform will be continuously developed and enriched for our students to access qualified course resources.
